Hotel Details

The Brilliance of the Seas encourages passengers to seize the day, and with so many attractions, each day is sure to be an adventure. As with any cruise, a fun-filled pool deck is a family must. The main onboard pool is perfect for water lovers and those who want to relax by the water. The pool also hosts competitions like belly flop contests, late-night pool parties, and dive-in movie nights. Those who may not want to spend time around splashing kids can enjoy the adults-only Solarium, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cocktail.

Parents may worry about keeping their kids entertained during sea days, but Brilliance's youth programs have got you covered. Split into three groups based on age, Adventure Ocean offers educational, fun, and FREE events for youngsters including themed parties, games, science experiments, and socializing with other kids on board.

Onboard activities are so popular, you'll never want to leave the boat. Those over 6 years old can try out the Brilliance's rock climbing wall or the mini-golf course. Family entertainment is also more than abundant on board from theater productions to game shows. Mystery fans should be sure to try out the Mystery Dinner Theater, in which a professional cast host a fun, mystery-filled evening with a multi-course dinner (note that this event requires an additional fee). Daily fun varies from the onboard casino, dance classes, guest lecturers, culinary and dance classes, wine tasting, and much, much more.

Babysitting is available onboard for parents looking for a little alone time. Group babysitting is $6 per child, per hour. In-roomIn room babysitting is $19 per hour, for UP TO THREE CHILDREN AT A TIME. For families with older kids, this may not be a problem, but for those with many little ones, group babysitting is the better option.

Each ship has a variety of fun activities for the whole family, so be sure to check your ship before you cruise to view what's available. Whether you're 8 or 80, there's no reason not to have fun on your getaway at sea; before breaking off into everyone's activities, enjoy some time together by planning to meet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

This is the time to make memories and nothing could be more memorable than setting up a shore excursion for the whole family. Plan your shore excursions ahead of time for the best chance at booking your top selections.

*Please note it is often cheaper to book two staterooms or two connecting cabins instead of one large stateroom suite - plus it gives you a second bathroom.*
