Best Western Plus Blaine at the National Sports Center

What a fantastic find in Blaine MN when traveling for a family funeral! The centerstone suites used to be a comfort suites. It is an all suite property. Our room had a living area with sleeper sofa, table and oversized chair, coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave. Attached bedroom had a king bed. There was a separate bedroom that had a bunk bed with twin on top and full on bottom for the kids. They had their own TV in their room. You can also get a suite with two bedrooms with the same bedding we had or two kings. Room was spacious for our family of six, nicely decorated and very clean. Could have slept seven. TVs have not yet been upgraded to flat screen. We did not hear any noise from the adjacent rooms, but we were next to a stairwell and heard people up and down on the stairs until after 10pm when it was very quiet.

Pool area is really neat for families. They have a regular pool that goes from 3-5 ft and a kiddie pool that has a zero depth entry and is only 1 foot deep. Super nice for toddlers! Pools arent huge but were very adequate and water temp warm. There is also a hot tub. Towels were available at the pool and plentiful.

Breakfast in the morning was in a decent sized room, though it did fill up at times. The tables seat four but we were able to push a couple together easily. Options included hot foods such as biscuits and gravy, waffles and eggs as well as the standard continental fare of toast, donuts, muffins, cereals, fruits as well as drinks. Staff was very friendly and kept things filled constantly.

Location is great! It is adjacent to a culvers and right off the main road in Blaine. Very close to the mall and many eatery choices. We would without a doubt stay here again! Cost was only 107 a night with our AAA discount which was amazing for all six of us!
