Homewood Suites Riverwalk San Antonio

We usually stay in Homewood Suites when we travel, and this one was fine. As with all Homewood Suites, there's a full kitchen, a nice free breakfast, and there's even a free supper Monday-Thursday.

There were a few small negatives to this particular hotel. The kitchen/living area were all one room, like a studio, so the kitchen was really small. Also, in our room (an extra large 2 queen 1 bedroom), the only bathroom was in the bedroom. I don't like that very much because no one can easily use the restroom while people are sleeping.

The parking here is valet only and almost $24/night. That's a negative, but if you have to stay downtown, it's going to be similar anywhere.

We were a short 4 blocks from the convention center, which is where we were headed. The hotel is technically on the Riverwalk, but it's not by all of the restaurants and stores. That part is also a quick walk, though.
